Fatality looked over the dark forest and howled in a ceramonious howl, "I take this land as my own!" Then she was running. Running down into the depths. Her wonderous pelt was sticking to her due to the pure pressure of the wind. Her ears were flat against her head which made her faster. Her fluffy tail streamed out behind her-keeping her stable. She was alpha and she was true.
((Do you mind if she doesnt get an alpha for like... Ages? Just like Darkness of DS...))

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
The moon glowed upon the back of the raven-coloured wolf, his black pelt blending in with the shadows. His eyes, which were light blue, were one of the only things that really showed that he existed in the spot, beneath the moon and the brush of the broken, blackened trees. His wings were like those of a raven, black and feathered; his underbelly white, and his eyes...well, they appeared normal at first description, but his pupils? They were white. Oh yes, and his muzzle was crimson, flecked with black.
If you knew his parentage, you'd understand completely why he looked as if part of him had been modelled to be dark, while the other half to be light. His father, Kayerla Jakallus, had been a demon of sorts, while his mother, Viera Myerly, had been half wolf and half angel.
The wolf's name was Xavier Jakallus, and he was literally torn between all his different longings; he had more than one side to him. And his father, Kayerla...yes, Kayerla was constantly speaking to him in his mind, trying to make Xavier choose his Dark Side over his Light Side.
So, why was he here, in the Dark Lands? Xavier had wandered here, and now, he cowered away in the darkness, seeking comfort in the moonlight above him. But clouds softly pulled over them, and the young wolf whined in terror. He was so muscular and such, you really would laugh to see such a wolf cowering in fear of where he was.
And the sound of the femme's voice claiming the land? That didn't help either.

The wolf pricked her ears and heard the paw-steps of a wolf. She scented the air. Some scent she had smelled before. It was a loner she had come across talking to another. Oh what was his name again? Savier? Xavin? Xevier? Xavier! That was it! Xavier! But oh what was he doing here? She thought to herself. "Who is there?" She asked stupidly. Oh smooth move Faena! She thought again, Her brain gears clicking like metal.

When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Xavier's black ears, one of them tipped white, flicked up curiously at the sound of her voice again. His whining ceased; his fear growing as his breath faded into silence. He seemed to be frozen for a moment, but finally he spoke.
"I...I..." he stuttered, trying to find the right words for what he longed to say. "I am called...X-Xavier Jakallus." His voice was strengthened, but not as much as he'd have wanted it to be. He'd rather have had the bravery of his dark side with rest of his light side's personality.
"And you?" his voice was somewhat quiet, but it was shrill and squeaky; his fear obvious from his voice alone. Terror pulsed through his body, and Xavier gulped. The half-demon's breathing sounded choked and worried.

"Dont worry. I am alone. My name is Fatal Murder. I am the new alphess of the dark forest around us." She replied smoothly, her voice echoing around the leaves. They vibrated and a drop of water splashed onto her nose. "Reveal yourself" She demanded, now hoping to show good leadership and command. "You are Xavier you say? Interesting"

Xavier's fear was released somewhat at the sight of the femme, but her name made his muscles clench in fear, and he could feel a large contraction of terror in his stomach; his ears lay flat against his head. The large wolf took in a deep breath, then let out a sigh of something like a mix of relief and a feeble attempt to calm himself.
The half-demon stepped out from his place amongst the trees and the brambles, the burnt branches making charred markings across his crimson muzzle. He shivered as one of the many cool breezes of winter ruffled his raven-coloured fur, and Xavier's blue, white-pupilled eyes looked up to the alphess.
"Err...nice to meet you?"
What were the greetings like in the world of darkness? For a mere moment, Xavier wished his dark form would take over, for he knew that it would know exactly what to say to the wolfess. As if his wish had come true, Xavier found himself on the ground in seconds, his body contracting as if he was about to give birth to cubs.
He appeared to be choking or something, Xavier tried to cry out, but it became merely a strained growl, a mix of fear and the dark wolf's readiness to come out of his imprisonment within Xavier, to become Xavier himself. To have a body again.

Faena watched as the wolf writhed, "What is wrong?!" She yelped quickly. Her wonderful white and black pelt glittering as she looked at the squirming wolf. It looked utterly pathetic in the mud, with glazed eyes of quite evil essence. The demon-like wolf looked at his body, his pelt, his tail, his ears, his paws. Something was different about this odd wolf...

When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Nightwolf, as Xavier called his dark side, strained to get out of Xavier's body, to become Xavier himself. As the light wolf choked and convulsed, every now and then he would stop and grin. That showed that Nightwolf had taken over. Xavier fought with all his might, but Nightwolf fought harder. Xavier's blue eyes suddenly had a darker look to them, as if something terrible had just entered his body, which had stopped convulsing.
Nightwolf's battle had been one. He stood, grinning darkly. "Hello. I'd be Xavier, but you already know that..." Nightwolf's grin didn't cease, he simply kept doing so. It was a dark grin, that was for sure, one that held lust and sin. "I am Xavier's...dark side, so to speak. You may call me Nightwolf."
The dark wolf shifted his feet, but his head was held high. Nightwolf wasn't the type to be easily frightened, unlike his bretheren, so to speak, Xavier.
Could it be worse?

Fatality suddenly noticed the dark essence pulsing off his body, "I see. And may I ask why you have come here? Or have you no apparent reason." She took advantage of his new 'form'. She knew he was pure darkness in this side. Nightwolf She rolled it over her mind. She repeated it again and again. Smirking she felt her own dark-side, which was already on her, strengthen. Her eyes glittered and turned from violet to blood red. She looked into his own. What colour? What colour?

Nightwolf's grin was horrendous, as he knew that he had beaten Xavier down for a while. He could feel the weaker wolf moving about feebly within his own body that Nightwolf had taken over. He took in her words, breathing deeply for a moment, glad to just be alive and out of Xavier's body.
"Oh, I have reason," the wolf growled, letting the words stream out of his mouth gleefully. "These are dark lands, and Xavier wasn't stupid. He knew I had some control over his mind. He didn't wander. He brought me here, perhaps not puposefully, but at my will he did."
Nightwolf examined his claws thoughtfully, wishing that there was a way to beat the other wolf out of his own body, so Nightwolf could make it fully his own...and perhaps while doing so, Nightwolf wouold manage to change it. He liked some parts of Xavier's appearance, mainly the parts that had been handed to him by his father, but Nightwolf didn't like the parts that Viera had given him, not the parts that she had given him that weren't tainted by Kayerla.

She looked at him with such force it would have scared many a wolf away. Her scars were scarlet and crimson- scattered around her furred body. Her odd eyes which were normally blue and green were now a destructive violet-red. She laughed, an odd laugh which echoed through the forest itself. Her dark self was strengthening. It was becoming mighty and its ultimate form. Her teeth glittered.
Faena no more- Fatality now.
